On 11 June, China Resources Cement and Shandong Hefeng Group signed the equity cooperation agreement in Linyi City. Mr. Juan Xinyang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Linyi Municipal and the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Ji Youhong, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Cement and Mr. Wan Jishan, the Chairman of Shandong Hefeng attended the signing ceremony.

Mr. Ji Youhong and his team visited the two engineered stone factories affiliated to Shandong Hefeng Group, namely Run He (Lanling) New Material Co., Ltd. and Run He (Feixian) New Material Co., Ltd. They visited the production plants, intelligent production lines, and the product showroom to deepen the understanding of the operation of facilities, the research, development and innovation, the safety and environmental protection and the performance of products of the company.

On the ceremony, Mr. Juan Xinyang, member of the Standing Committee of the Linyi Municipal and the Deputy Mayor, representing the Municipal Committee and the government of Linyi City, expressed his warm congratulation on the success of contract signing. He stated that CR Cement has strong capability and advanced technologies. This investment of CR Cement in Linyi and cooperation with Shandong Hefeng will play an important role in speeding up the rise of local industrial sector and build the "new model" of Linyi's economy. He welcomed CR Cement for more cooperation in different regions in Linyi in the future.

Mr. Ji Youhong expressed his gratitude to the Standing Committee of the Linyi Municipal, Linyi Municipal People's Government, the Standing Committee of the Feixian County and the Feixian County People's Government for the support of contract signing. He said that the cooperation between CR Cement and Hefeng Group integrated resources and complemented each other's advantages. Both sides would give full play to their strengths, cultivate in the engineered stone area, fully integrate high-quality resources and create a more fruitful results. He emphasized that CR Cement would adhere to the concept of "transformation and innovation, quality development", accelerate the development process, and work together with the local government and Hefeng Group to help Linyi to achieve a rapid development in the economy and make progress in the society.

Shandong Hefeng Group is a comprehensive enterprise group with a decade of experience in the production and research and development of quartz, and is also a famous engineered quartz producer. The annual production capacity of engineered quartz reaches 15 million m2, and the products are sold to more than 60 countries and regions. The Group has substantial experience, technologies and resources in the production, research and development and brand marketing of engineered stones.

The successful signing of the equity cooperation agreement between CR Cement and Shandong Hefeng represents the entering of the business of CR Cement in Shandong. The two parties will further cooperate on operation management, market development and technology innovation of green building materials business area, and accomplish greater social effectiveness and economic value.
