On 6 June, the signing ceremony of the Southeast University - China Resources Cement Joint Research and Development Center was successfully held at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Southeast University in Nanjing. Mr. Gao Liguo, the Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and the Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Southeast University, and Mr. Jing Shiqing, the Vice President of China Resources Cement, signed up on behalf of both sides and issued the employment letter to the key personnel of the Joint Research and Development Center. Mr Ji Youhong, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the CEO of CR Cement, Mr. Miao Changwen and Mr. Liu Jiaping, members of China Academy of Engineering, Mr. Luo Sang, the Director of the Base Office of Science of Southeast University, and Mr. Sun Zhengming, the Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Southeast University, attended the ceremony.

On the ceremony, the two parties communicated on the achievements of civil engineering materials in scientific research, talent training and construction of major national projects, the overall situation and the current situation of technological innovation of CR Cement, as well as the main tasks and the mode of management and operation of the Joint Research and Development Center.

Pursuant to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate comprehensively on field such as low-carbon building materials, intelligent construction and prefabricated construction. The strong alliance between Southeast University and CR Cement not only tackle difficult problems, lay out plans on the research and development of material technology of next generation, continuously promote the transformation of research achievements, but also contribute to the further development of building materials business in China.
